A family tradition
by the sea.

For more than seventy years, Las Arenas has welcomed guests beside the small fishing harbour of Es Canà. From morning coffee and homemade pastries to paella at sunset, it remains a place for unhurried Mediterranean moments.

Refurbished with care and never with haste, the house keeps its original soul: parquet floors, carved wood, the smell of coffee and fresh bread, and a terrace that looks straight out to sea.

Our history

From guesthouse
to home by the sea.

What began as the Pensión Las Arenas in the 1950s is today a boutique hotel, restaurant and bakery - more than seventy years on the same shore of Es Canà.

Pensión Las Arenas in the 1950s

Where it began

On the sands of Es Canà, a family opened the little Pensión Las Arenas - a handful of rooms, a café, and a warm welcome by the sea.

The 1950s

The fishing port

In those early years the pensión looked out over the little harbour, where wooden boats came and went and the first travellers discovered Es Canà.

Summers on the sand

As the island opened to the world, the beach filled with striped parasols and sailing boats - and Las Arenas grew right along with it.
